Police Dog Killed in Waterbury Car Accident

A car accident involving a police cruiser and another car in Waterbury has left three people injured and killed a police dog. The car accident happened on Saturday. According to the driver of the other car and his passenger, the police cruiser failed to stop at a stop sign.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Highland Drive.

All three men were in stable condition Saturday. Domino died in the collision.

All three people involved in the accident were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. The car accident is being investigated by the Waterbury Police Department and no charges have been filed.
